CHCD Advances Electric Drive Transition with Key Project Milestones

CHCD revealed that its core projects involving compressor motors and oil pump motors have recently cleared critical development milestones, successfully progressing from prototype development to preparation for mass production. The achievement is seen as a key move in strengthening supply chain integration and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in the rapidly evolving electric mobility sector.

Following the launch of the initiative, CHCD quickly assembled a dedicated task force, bringing together R&D teams and frontline production units to tackle technical challenges. Among the key hurdles addressed were precision winding and laser welding processes—both essential for ensuring performance and reliability in electric drive systems.

During the pilot production phase, the company’s engineering institute, quality control division, and DC motor manufacturing center conducted comprehensive process evaluations under lean manufacturing principles. Each stage of production underwent strict scrutiny to ensure alignment with industrial standards.

Initial validation results have been encouraging. The first batch of sample stators and rotors—six units each—received high recognition from both internal experts and external clients, who confirmed that the products meet all design specifications and are ready for mass production.

Industry observers note that this milestone reflects CHCD’s broader push to deepen collaboration across the automotive supply chain while accelerating its shift toward high-value electric drive components. As global demand for electrified vehicles continues to rise, suppliers capable of delivering reliable and scalable motor technologies are increasingly in focus.

Looking ahead, CHCD stated it will continue to prioritize technological innovation and strategic transformation. The company aims to further optimize its product portfolio and reinforce its core manufacturing capabilities, positioning itself for sustained growth in the global electric mobility market.
