Following approximately 70 days of continuous optimisation, CHCD’s Engineering Research Institute, in collaboration with the New Energy Division, has successfully completed the efficiency enhancement project for the new energy stator Line 5. Single-shift output surged from approximately 40 units in September to nearly 300 units, representing an overall capacity increase of nearly eightfold. The first-pass welding pass rate rose from 80% to 95%, effectively addressing dual challenges of production efficiency and quality stability. This achievement lays a solid foundation for expanding the company’s production capacity of core new energy components.
During this enhancement project, the technical team focused on critical bottlenecks, implementing multi-dimensional improvements through process optimisation, equipment modifications, and intelligent upgrades. At the process level, the team refined tooling design, significantly enhancing the matching precision of flared and twisted wires alongside improved terminal accuracy, substantially boosting the stability of the no-trimming process. In the welding stage, optimised process parameters elevated weld quality, while an independently developed vision-guided system enabled efficient and precise welding of complex copper plates.
Regarding intelligent solutions, the team conducted in-depth analysis of backend production data and refined algorithms to achieve intelligent scheduling across 12 parallel workstations, substantially boosting overall production line throughput efficiency.
Moving forward, CHCD will continue advancing efficiency gains, quality enhancements, and expanded automation coverage across its in-house production lines, thereby continuously elevating the manufacturing competitiveness and delivery capabilities of core components for new energy applications.
