With United Efforts and Resolute Determination, CHCD Presses the Accelerator on Production Growth

The current explosive growth in new energy motor sales stands as the pivotal force propelling CHCD towards its annual targets. To fully safeguard the supply of new energy motor products, the company recently launched a specialised campaign titled ‘Securing Supply, Boosting Capacity, Leading the Charge’. This initiative aims to achieve a 45% increase in output for a core product, surpass 95% monthly capacity utilisation, while maintaining a product qualification rate consistently above 99%

During this critical campaign, several obstacles emerged as barriers to capacity expansion: potential equipment failures under full-load operation, suboptimal coordination efficiency in key production processes, and occasional disruptions in material supply chain continuity. Company management promptly deployed personnel to the front lines, adopting a ‘stationed support + on-site operations’ model. With the objectives of ‘resolving challenges and driving tangible results,’ they addressed production bottlenecks and galvanised collective efforts to ensure the campaign’s successful completion.

1 New Power Motor Plant

Plant technicians, company process engineers, and tooling suppliers collaborated to address issues such as short tool life and excessive tool clearance. By adopting a collaborative approach of ‘laying problems on the table and pooling resources,’ they reduced barriers and enhanced synergy throughout the campaign.

2 Engineering Research Institute

The Automation Design Institute team addressed quality concerns at source, adjusting parameters and refining processes to tackle copper wire surface oil contamination and insulation paper damage from wire-guiding components. Additionally, the R&D team independently developed rapid positioning fixtures for copper busbar welding, substantially reducing auxiliary time. The formal implementation of the medium-frequency preheating station optimised production flow and minimised process waiting times, providing robust support for overall capacity enhancement.

3 Procurement Department

The Procurement Department convened a dedicated supply assurance meeting for new energy project components. A specialised task force conducted on-site inspections at supplier facilities, implementing end-to-end oversight across raw material reserves, production schedules, and quality control. Support plans were formulated for suppliers with capacity shortfalls to resolutely prevent supply disruptions from impacting project timelines.

4 General Administration Department

The department has prioritised logistical support for production line staff. By delivering meals directly to production areas, it has eliminated queuing for meals and ensured adequate rest periods, enabling employees to maintain peak productivity. To further motivate staff, an internal campaign titled ‘Safeguard Supply, Boost Capacity, Lead the Way’ has been launched. Outstanding individuals and teams demonstrating exceptional performance during critical operations receive recognition, fostering a positive atmosphere of mutual learning and competitive excellence.

5 Human Resources Department

The Human Resources Department organised staff from various functional departments to support production lines. Departments responded proactively, with support staff leveraging their expertise, complying with on-site team leader arrangements, actively learning production techniques, adhering to process discipline, and safeguarding product quality. Their efforts set an exemplary standard during this critical phase. This initiative not only strengthened frontline production capabilities but also fostered a powerful synergy across the company, embodying the principle of ‘frontline combat, rear support,’ thereby providing robust assurance for the supply assurance campaign.

The entire company worked in concert, united as one: machinery hummed incessantly while employees remained full of vigour; real-time production figures were constantly updated, steadily advancing towards the target. Moving forward, all staff will continue to adopt an attitude of ‘no problem left unresolved overnight, no slackening in the offensive’, dedicating their utmost efforts to boosting output. This will ensure the successful completion of the critical task of securing supply for new energy motors, delivering an impressive result for the company’s development.
